New Projects, Same Camera Woes
Fast forward through the Fall of 2025
Writing to you from a short respite in this arctic blast.
For nearly the past year I’ve been helping to launch New York Television, we’re currently in a “soft launch” what will the “hard launch” look like? No idea!
Developing Story, the second of Michelle Gold’s Adult Swim smalls, is out! When I signed on to produce these I admittedly could not picture the world she had scripted out, and it is amazing to see it all come to fruition.
I’ve done a few Picnic Punk shows - you can listen back if you like. Part one of 12/27 is here under CJ’s shows as we squished together to make a back to back 4 hour show. :)
I think it’s beautiful that Chicago’s iconography lends itself to looking like shelves of vibrators.
Don’t get too attached to this hair it’s currently cut off in a ziploc bag to give to Lillyan.
Brett and I gave ourselves one day to vaca in Chicago after the Best Show show and had a great time. Looking forward to coming again, what a charming place.
Blake and Pam with their nightmare chipmunk creations. I accidentally signed up for Pam Anderson’s substack thinking it was Pam Anderson’s (pictured above) substack :( I paid 5$.
Nneka and I celebrated our birthdays together even though they are a month and a half a part.
Toni’s tiny town, Toni’s shoe horn, Toni’s big leaf
On my birthday I went on a foraging tour in Forest Park and Blake surprised us at the end with a magician. He walked up to us backwards.
Utter delight.
City Fresh Variety show- another one is happening next Friday, cant wait.
I’ve been trying to not take only landscape photos. There’s three (!!) in this month’s newsletter.
Dr. Rachel’s studio
See you next year if this roll of film survives!

What a great photo journaled update!!! NY television sounds interesting and mysterious! Hope you found some good fixings in Forest Park, I often hap upon chicken of the woods on my jogs along the trails there.
What an incredable visual journey through your fall! The energy in these photos is contageous - you can really feel how packed and exciting these months were for you. I love seeing the behind-the-scenes glimpses of NY Television and all the creative colaboration happening. Looking forward to seeing where these projects go!
